I, Foundation Guide for HECO-300W


Before construction the foundation for the HECO-300W system, read these instructions carefully. These instructions are only intend to be guide for concrete foundation on solid soils or suitable roof infrastructure. Please contact your local civil or structure engineer for more information.


1. Street light positioning (location)
2. Digging the foundation of well (light tower, batteries)
3. Installation of ground wire, foundation cage
4. Pour concrete (40% ~ 50%)
5. Install battery lead hose
6. Pour concrete (100%)
7. Install the battery
8. Assemble the fan
9. Light tower parts assembly (connect fan, solar panels, LED lights and lanterns)
10. lifting
11. Debugging (light tower, solar panels, lights and lanterns)
12. Install the controller
13. Clean up the site

 
II, Ground Foundation

Lightning angle iron end inserts in the bottom of the Earth, can only achieve conductive effect. Fastening the cage wire terminals of the Foundation. Place ground cage, require vertical laying, foundations should be two or three centimeters below ground level at the top of the cage, parallel to the road, its center point location and road edge distances according to the drawing requirements and consistent (usually set distance of 50~60 cm)

1.Grounding electrodes into the underground, insert at the bottom of the well mud 40 ~ 50 cm

2.Lead fastening connection terminal and the foundation of cage

Add the concrete, using a vibration poker to remove air voids from the pour. It is very important to make sure that the all four rods are hooked under the rebar. Once the concrete is all poured, make sure that the template has no air voids directly underneath. More importantly, make sure the template is leveled off.

Next, clear excess concrete from above template and use a suitable cover to prevent the foundation from rain. Wait until the concrete has set complete before removing the template (It will take at least for one week).  Just remember, a solid with perfect leveled foundation is one of the key factors to achieve the success of installation.


Notice :

Light tower foundation concrete points twice, the first flow backward depth of 50% or less, fixed cage. Curing flow backward again after 6 ~ 8 hours for the second time, before the flow backward for the second time, to be wire elastic tube placed in the center of the cage in the middle of the place, the height of the concrete below the top of the cage to 8 to 10 cm, guarantee the cement surface level (flat).
